Xiao Fei was orphaned at a young age: Her father was killed in a meaningless squabble between two local feuding lords, and her mother died soon after. At the tender age of eight, Xiao Fei vowed to never let the world break her or beat her into submission as it did her mother during her final days. Because of her abject poverty, Xiao Fei scraped and saved while working odd jobs for little pay, earning the nickname "Small Change" from her peers -- a name which she uses to this day.
Now a young woman searching for her place in the world, she has moved from town to town, looking for her destiny. She does not seek greatness but will have it thrust upon her.

Wu Kung has become a legend in his own time: A vagabond warrior who has defeated every challenger and vanquished every foe. The reason for his wanderlust is unclear, but Wu Kung never stays in one place for too long.
As a person, he is an irresponsible lout and an irrepressibly mischievous prankster; however, as a fighter, he is totally without peer. Content to pummel most opponents using his fists and feet, Wu Kung also carries a spear to deal with particularly dangerous enemies.

Hong Shiao Se is a name well-known among the common folk; but most confuse gossip for fact, and very little is known about the true Hong Shiao Se. It is a testament to her leadership and fighting skills that she has become the leader of The Yellow Scarves Rebellion -- a movement comprised of a feared group of freedom fighters waging a guerilla war against the increasingly cruel and oppressive government. The Yellow Scarves would be no better than countryside bandits were it not for the controlling influence of Hong Shiao Se.
Not much is known about her past, but there is a persistent rumor that she is the lost daughter of a venerable family of nobles. Though proficient with many weapons, Shiao Se prefers nothing more than a simple fan and whatever she may have expertly concealed upon her person. First Appearance: ?
